Learning reflection

In this course, I get many thing for my education life. When we learn finish, my instructor give us write knowledge of that period on blog. The knowledge such as the concept of how to reading continuous text  fit together and the signification of discourse markers with attention on the development of them in types of texts, including narration, description, comparison, definition, classification, exemplification, cause-effect and problem solving. Reading find main ideas and details in longer texts.

My attitudes toward this lesson is useful for all student because extensive reading is simply reading a lot of English (reading almost everyday) at a fairy easy level (being able to understand the text without needing dictionary).

In last time of this course, Dr.Usa gave us check homework with my friend. Next, she ordered find main idea and discourse marker of the text. After that. she gave us do exercise and answer it together. I think this lesson is difficult and the long text. My solve a problem is try for each paragraph and practice more.

The first one, teacher gave us check homework with friend and she answered all exercise of homework. She advised how to spoke English correctly by Cambridge Dictionary online.

The next one, she gave us a new lesson"Exemplification". She explain the meaning of the word and example how to use. She gave us do exercise on work sheet  find main idea and highlight all of the Exemplification text.

The last one, she ordered made in group about Problem and solution with present in the classroom.

Today, I learned on Sunday. Dr.Usa ordered check homework with our partner and she answered all exercise of homework.Then, she gave us find main idea and  Effect of stress all of the text. Dr.Usa wrote answer on the board.

Next, she gave us the new lesson "Definition and Classification." She explain the meaning of the word and example how to use. She gave us do exercise on work sheet and ordered drew a diagram on whiteboard.

I think this lesson is fun  because I can identify from techniques of teaching faculty.

The first one, teacher gave us check answer homework with our partner. Next, she answered all exercise of homework together with us. She gave us find main idea of that text and highlight all of the Exemplification text and write on the whiteboard.When she finished answer, she taught the new lesson but power outage.

Then, she gave us watch present cooking video's friend on project screen. I enjoy with  cooking video's friends.

Today, I learned on Sunday. Dr.Usa gave checked answer homework with friend. After that, she answered all exercise of homework.Then, she gave us find main idea and comparison and  contrast all of text. The last one, she gave us write answer of the last exercise. This lesson is fun because I know what similarities or differences.


Next, I learned on afternoon Sunday. Dr.Usa  gave a new lesson about "cause and effect." After that, she gave us do exercise. When we finished, she answered it together with us. Next, she gave us watch present cooking video's friend on project screen.I think this lesson is difficult and the long text. My solve a problem is try for each paragraph and practice more.

Good morning for mid-term test in the class room start at 08.30 - 10.00 a.m. and  take a break 10 minutes. I thing it not difficult but not easy.

Next time, teacher gave new lesson about  "Compare and Contrast" pattern presents similarities(comparisons)  and differences (contrast).

The slide, that my instructor opened, is a picture of apple & orange. Then, she gave us find comparison & contrast of it with our partner. Comparison & contrast that our found are type and shape etc.

Next, she gave us find main point on the text and checked answers together.After that, she ordered homework on work sheet.

Today,Dr.Usa told us next week to midterm test. She teach new lesson about "Procedure"
Procedure or instruction is to tell us how something   is accomplished through a sequence of action or steps. It is very important genre in our society because it enable us to get thing done, and it is equally common in the oral and written mode. The Purpose is to tell the reader how to do or make something.


After that, my instructor gave worksheet us and taught together organisation of this lesson for us.
She taught with example each topic.Next, she gave us watch cooking video in youtube. It's make us understand about dialog of each type. After that, she gave us do exercise on worksheet.

The first time, I talk with my partner about news and check answer homework.Next time,teacher teach story "Investigation report" and ordered answer these question.

1. When was the report written ?  

The report was written December 9,2008 at about 19.32 pm.

Teacher ordered written sequenced about My  Grandpa's Funeral in Toraja.

• Gathered together with relatives in the ceremony.
• Grandpa's body was dressed in a fine wearing and kept in the tongkonan.
• Slaughtered the pigs and buffaloes.
• Moved the corpse to face north.
• Placed the corpse in a sandal wood coffin.
• Brought out of the house and placed on an open platform beneath the granary.
• Prepared the "lakian".

• ·         Seven people were killed in a series of bomb and gun attacks in central Jakarta. Indonesian police said five attackers and two others, a Canadian and an Indonesian, were killed.
• ·         The Islamic State group said its “crusader alliance” carried out the attack. Police spokesman Gen Anton Charliyan said: “They imitated the terror actions in Paris.”
• ·         A Dutch man was among those wounded. Authorities in the Netherlands said a Dutch man was critically injured. Five policeman suffered gun or shrapnel wounds.
• ·         Police declared they had regained control of the area five hours after an initial bomb attack at 10.30 am local time. There were six explosions in quick succession, according to witnesses.
• ·         At least one of the blasts occurred near the United Nations headquarters on Thamrin Road. A lock down of the UN building has been lifted.
• ·         A suicide bomber was killed in an attack at a nearby Starbucks. The company said one customer was injured.
• ·         The Indonesian president, Joko Widodo, condemned the attacks and appealed for calm. He said: “The state, nation and people should not be afraid of, and lose to, such terror acts.”
• ·         Nine suspected Islamic State terrorists were arrested in December with documents outlining a plan to “do a concert” in Jakarta.
